## Description

"Yo no canto por cantar" follows Mauricia Saavedra, a rural Chilean folk singer, as she navigates life in a deeply conservative environment shaped by machismo and religious traditions. Through her music, Mauricia confronts discrimination, personal loss, and social exclusion, transforming her voice into a tool for resilience and healing.
