Musicians such as trumpeter Tiny Davis or drummer Ruby Lucas not only shared the swing with each other, but also a lifelong relationship. Singers like Maxine Sullivan rose from humble backgrounds to become America's most sought-after jazz stars. Gretra Schiller and Andrea Weiss have met Maxine Sullivan, Tiny and Ruby and the still living "Sweethearts" and questioned about their extraordinary career.
