Rasendes Grün mit Pferden (2019)

The film is a personal, non-narrative collection of brief observational moments, private gestures, and atmospheric portraits captured on 16 mm film between 1999 and 2018. Filmed across various locations (including Berlin, Detroit, and Cape Cod), it records everyday life, friends, family, and fleeting memories. Viewers see recurring subjects grow and change across different ages—from childhood into youth and adulthood—accompanied by ambient sound, speech, music, or silence. A key recurring motif features the handwritten sentence: "A child asleep in its own life".
